Gogolook Partners with Singapore’s Leading Telecom Operator StarHub to Expand Market Presence
According to data released by the Singapore Police Force , financial losses from scams in 2024 exceeded SGD 1.1 billion (approximately TWD 26 billion), marking a 70% increase from the previous year. In a strategic move to strengthen its anti-scam footprint across Southeast Asia, TrustTech company Gogolook (TWSE: 6902) announced its partnership with StarHub, a leading telecommunications company in Singapore. The two companies have jointly launched a new anti-scam app, ScamSafe, in the Singapore market. Under this collaboration, Gogolook provides its AI-powered anti-scam database and technical support, signifying a pivotal entry point into Southeast Asia’s telecom ecosystem and laying a solid foundation for further market expansion.
Singaporeboasts one of the highest digital penetration rates in the Asia-Pacific region.According to DataReportal[1], as of early 2024, thenumber of mobile connections in Singapore reached 162.2% of the totalpopulation, indicating that most individuals own more than one mobile device.As a leading telecommunications provider, StarHub now offers ScamSafe, an appsupported by Gogolook’s AI database. ScamSafe identifies unknown callers,blocks scam calls, filters suspicious SMS messages, and includes features forusers to report scam numbers.
